The Grand River Agricultural Society (GRAS) established this scholarship program to provide financial assistance to students within our community who are entering or enrolled in a college diploma or university degree, in agriculture and/or environment-related programs. Applications open March 1, 2026 and close June 1, 2026.
Why Pizza? Pizza, arguably a favourite food of all students, typically represents all four food groups identified by Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating and is an excellent topic for a comprehensive study of agriculture, nutrition, food processing, economics, mathematics, science, arts, and language – even careers. This is a scholarship provided by the Grand River Agricultural Society to support students in the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) program at the University of Guelph. The Applicant MUST be an Ontario resident entering year 3 or 4 of the OVC program, in either the Rural Community Practice or Large Animal Practice stream. Application Deadline: June 1, 2026
